Learn about Bukisa writing opportunites

Bukisa is an article site that allows writers to submit and share their writing on just about any topic. The site also accepts videos. Writers who submit content to Bukisa have an opportunity to earn money Google Adsense.

Bukisa previously paid via the Bukisa index, which  was set at a number and that number represented the amount of money the member would earn for 1,000 page views. If the Bukisa index was at 3.45, you'll earn $3.45 USD per 1,000 page views. But today Bukisa pays via Google Adsense share. You need your own Google Adsense account and would get paid via Google monthly directly.

How do you Apply to Bukisa?

There's no need to apply. Anyone can join.

How do you Get Paid?

Bukisa did pay via PayPal on a monthly basis. You could set your payout level and payouts begin at $10.00 but today you get paid direct through Google Adsense. Google Adsense pays you directly monthly, when your earnings exceed $100.00. This means that if you have several Google Adsense earning sources,  your account can consolidate earnings to reach that $100 mark, rather than wait for each source to reach it separately.

Bukisa Referrals

In the past, a great way to make money on Bukisa was to also refer your friends. You did make money several tiers down by using your referral code but this program is currently cancelled due to the new payment structure with Google.

Writing articles on a wide variety of topics could help you make money via Bukisa.

Hint:

You could also use it as a great way to build backlinks to your other online work. For example, want more traffic to a great HubPage you've written? Link your Bukisa article about a topic to a more extensive Hub.

Tips to Improve Your Bukisa Earnings

There are a lot of passive income sites out there and various sites will have varying amounts of earning potential. Here are some tips to maximize your earning potential on Bukisa:

  • Keyword research
  • Compelling titles
  • Photos
  • Keyword Optimization
  • Promotion
  • Referrals

Keyword Research

By researching the keywords most searched for the topic you're writing about, you can increase your ability for the articles to be found in the search engines.

Compelling Titles

Writing a hot title that compels people to click can help you get noticed on the front page of Bukisa, in category sections, and in the search engines.

Photos

A picture does say 1,000 words. And in the case of web articles, it improves the search engine optimising power as well. Pick great photos and name them with keywords. (Make sure you only use photos where you are allowed to re-publish)

Keyword Optimization

How do you optimize web content articles for maximum exposure? Put relevant keywords in important places such as: meta description, title, first paragraph, subheadings, end of the paragraph, and link them.

Promo

Link to your Bukisa articles from other places, take advantage of your Bukisa widget by putting it on your blog's sidebar, and use social media tools. The Bukisa system lets you link to having your Twitter status updated when new content is posted and you can manually promote as well to increase exposure both from search engines and from people.

All in all, Bukisa is known as being a program that can help you earn residual and passive income. While it may not pay as well as some sites (such as HubPages), it's a good idea to try several methods of passive article writing so that you can do multi-linking and increase your online exposure. And, if you're a writer, you can also use your Bukisa articles as clips for potential writing jobs, too.

Bukisa is great. Just write 10 articles and invite 10 friends using your own referral link and your earnings will start rising in a curve and you don't need to write that long only 250 words is required.
