The packaging of The Weight Loss Grail book takes you back to a time of Indiana Jones and the search for the Holy Grail. This book definitely unlocks some secrets and some common sense, too.
I got a chance to read it just before it was released for public sale and I have to say, I'm convinced that anyone who follows this plan will lose weight.
Not only does the Weight Loss Grail book offer a plan that's easy to follow, it also allows for a margin of error so you don't have to be perfect. How many diets require you to follow their instructions 100% otherwise you've blown it? Many! This diet is realistic and offers a way to change your lifestyle instead of trying to get you to eat in an illogical way that's unhealthy for your body and worse --- leaving you feeling starving and deprived!
Weight Loss Grail vs Fat Loss 4 Idiots
The sales page is reminiscent of Fat Loss 4 Idiots but I've read both books and the contents are VERY different. FL4I wants you to follow a regimented routine with an online diet generator that tells you what to eat. WLG diet lets you eat 6 times a day and lets you eat food you'd normally eat. Your portions are smaller than typically meals and you're going for a specific mixture of carbs and protein but this is a much more logical way to eat. FL4i has a "Beyond Calories" diet with 6 meals a day but from what I've read, that diet is more difficult to follow for most.
Eating several times a day on the Weight Loss Grail plan in small portions does a few things for you:
- You're not starving. In fact, I'm having trouble eating 6 times a day most days (I've been following the plan for about 6 days)
- Your metabolism revvs up and burns fat
- You feel good
- Your appetite decreases (we get used to eating platters of food instead of plates of food. It doesn't take long, once you've reduced your portions, for that smaller portion to be MORE than enough)
One area the Weight Loss Grail strives for that I see missing in many online fad diets is that it requires you to take vitamins. There are several recommendations in the book that just make perfect sense. So many dieters are not only deprived from a hunger standpoint but also from a nutrition standpoint. This plan offers a much healthier way to lose weight.
Do you need to exercise?
I need to paraphrase the book here...If you don't, and you're pear-shaped, you're going to look like a smaller version of a pear with dieting. Who wants to look like a pear? Wouldn't you rather look like a banana?
Great 'food' for thought. Exercise doesn't have to be intense, either. The book gives great recommendations and is an easy and fun read.
